Talladega Prize Pack Sweepstakes

NASCAR returns to Talladega this April and FOX 20 has partnered with Max Credit Union and Victoryland Casino to send viewers to the biggest, baddest race of the year.

To enter, email contest@wcov.com with the subject line Talladega Contest and include the following information:

  • Name

  • Date of Birth

  • Address

  • Phone number

All entries must include all the above information to be valid. Limit one entry per person per email address per calendar day (12 a.m. –11:59 p.m. Central Time). Multiple same day entries on an email address will be voided.

Once the submission period ends each valid entry will be assigned a number. A winner will be selected from these entries using a random number generator. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The winner will receive a Prize Pack which includes:

  • 4x Two-Day Race Tickets (4/25 and 4/26)

  • 4x Two-Day Garage Experience Passes (4/25 and 4/26)

  • A Two-Day Parking Pass (4/25 and 4/26)

The approximate retail value of this prize pack is $786. Winner is responsible for all applicable taxes. WCOV reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

Because this contest is time-sensitive, some additional rules and details apply. These rules are in addition to our general station contest rules. These rules and details are:

  • Contest Entry period is 12 a.m. 3/14 through 11:59 p.m. on 4/12/26

  • A winner will be selected on or about 4/13/26

  • Contest is open to legal residents of Alabama who are 19 years of age or older.

  • Must be able to come to WCOV to complete all necessary forms and provide ID for station records before receiving your prize

  • Cannot be an employee or direct relation to an employee of WCOV, Max Credit Union or Victoryland Casino

  • Once the winner is notified, they have 24 hours to confirm they can attend the event. If they cannot confirm within 24 hours a new winner will be chosen. If they cannot attend the event a new winner will be chosen. Prizes are non-transferable.

  • Entrants must provide a phone number capable of receiving voicemail messages.

  • Winners will be notified by phone. If a chosen winner does not answer WCOV will leave a voicemail and send an email to the provided address. The winner will have 24 hours to return the call to WCOV and speak to a station representative. Failure to do so will result in voiding the selection and WCOV will draw another winner at random.

This contest is sponsored by WCOV FOX 20, Montgomery, Alabama. There is no purchase necessary to enter this contest.

Official Rules

No purchase is necessary to enter or win; a purchase will not improve your chances of winning

These Specific Rules, in addition to the General Rules accessible via the Station’s website and the Promotion’s webpage at https://wcov.com/contests, govern the Talladega Prize Pack Sweepstakes promotion (the “Promotion”) (the Specific Rules and the General Rules are collectively referred to as the “Official Rules”).  The General Rules contain additional terms and conditions that govern and apply to the Promotion and are incorporated herein by reference.  A complete copy of these Specific Rules or a list of winners can be obtained at the offices of WCOV-TV (the “Station”), 1 WCOV Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36111 during normal business hours Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Station with a request for the rules and/or list of winners.  In the event of a conflict or inconsistency between these Specific Rules and the General Rules, the General Rules shall govern.  Any individual who enters, attempts to enter or in any way participates or attempts to participate in the Promotion agrees to be bound by these Specific Rules and the General Rules as well as by all interpretations of the rules by the Station and by all other decisions of the Station which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion.

 

1. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.  A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited.  All federal, state, and local regulations apply.

2.  Eligibility.  This Promotion is open to all legal residents of Alabama who reside in the Station’s DMA who are at least 19 years of age at the time of entry.  

3.  Promotion Period.  The Promotion will begin on March 14, 2026 at 12:00 AM CST and will run through April 12, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”).  The Station’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Promotion. Employees or family members of employees of WCOV TV, Max Credit Union, or Victoryland Casino are not eligible to win the prize.

4.   How to Enter.  Limit one (1) entry per person, per email address, per calendar day (12:00 AM – 11:59 PM Central Time). Multiple same day entries from the same email address will be voided.

Send an email to contest@wcov.com using the subject line: “Talladega Prize Pack Sweepstakes”. The body of the email must including the following information to be valid: full name, date of birth, physical address, and a phone number capable of receiving voicemail. All entries must be received during the Promotion Period to be eligible to win. All entries and materials submitted to the Promotion shall be referred to hereunder as a “Submission”. 

Station reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that it deems, in its sole discretion, to be in violation of the Official Rules or that is not in keeping with Station’s image or who communicates messages inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which Station wishes to associate. False or deceptive acts or Submissions, or Submissions generated by script, macro or other automated means will be void, will render a participant ineligible, and also may result in participant no longer being allowed to enter Station’s sweepstakes, contests or other promotions in the future, at Station’s sole discretion. All Submissions become the property of the Station and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entrants must provide all the required information requested. Incomplete, unreadable or unintelligible Submissions will be disqualified. Participation in the Promotion constitutes the entrant’s understanding of and full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of the Official Rules. Station reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that Station determines to be in violation of any term contained in the Official Rules. Station’s decision not to enforce a specific provision of the Official Rules does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of the Official Rules generally.

 

5. Winner Selection. 

Within two (2) business days after the conclusion of the Promotion Period, Station and/or its designee will select one (1) winner via random drawing from among all valid entries received by Station during the Promotion Period.

The winning entrant will be contacted using the email address or telephone number provided with their entry and may be awarded the prize (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these Specific Rules and the General Rules). The potential winner(s) must respond to initial notification within forty-eight (48) hours.  Unless otherwise agreed, winner(s) must claim prize no later than five (5) days after initial notification.

A person may only win a total of one (1) prize in this Promotion.

6. Odds of winning. The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.      

7. Prize(s).  One (1) prize will be awarded in the Promotion.  

The winner will receive a Prize Pack which includes: Four (4) Two-Day Race Tickets for April 25, 2026 and April 26, 2026, Four (4) Two-Day Garage Experience Passes for April 25, 2026 and April 26, 2026, and a Two (2) day Parking Pass for April 25, 2026 and April 26, 2026. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize is $786.00.

 Each prize is subject to all terms and conditions of each Sponsor. 

ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES AND ANY OTHER COSTS AND EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH ACCEPTANCE AND/OR USE OF ANY PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. All costs and expenses related to prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being awarded shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitutions or transfers of a prize, except at Station’s discretion. Non-cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash. Prizes are provided “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. All specific details of any prize or part awarded are at the Station’s sole discretion. If a prize is returned as undeliverable or is unable to be awarded for any reason, the applicable prize may, at Station’s sole discretion, be awarded to an alternate via the winner determination process for the Promotion as detailed herein.  Prizes are non-transferable. Station reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. The dates for fulfillment of the prizes are subject to change in Station’s sole discretion. Station reserves the right to modify the Promotion in its sole discretion and award a substitute prize, or portion of prize, of comparable or greater value as set forth in these Official Rules.
